Fried chicken is NOT part of "Confederate culture". What is [b]wrong[/b] with you ? The Scots were frying chicken in fat as far back as the Middle Ages (as opposed to the English, who boiled chicken). African slaves who became cooks added spices that were foreign to Scottish cooking.
