Ooh, that'd make for a cool movie 😀

They've proven scientifically that the memory resides in every part of our bodies not just the brain. That our cells actually hold the most important memory.
Even our hair has memory. It's pretty cool I think. Our bodies are like amazing bio-suits animated by our cosmic energy or soul.

@Micromint That's pretty intriguing.
Micromint · 41-45, F
@SW-User I think it is too. I know that because of this discovery they are taking new approaches to disease treatments. Such as cancer, HIV, hepatitis and other disease that tends to create "memory problems" at a cellular level. Kinda cool.

I would call it a well designed machine
I build machines ,they amaze me
but nothing more so then the human body
it is so tough and self healing if you put the right fuel in it
but the simplest thing can take it out as well
I just can't buy it all started with one cell that ended up an ape and then finally a human
to many things that say it should not exist at all
like a bumble flying ,does not science say it should be impossible ?
but yet they do
Man tried to say the body had parts that served no purpose ,now they find out they were dead wrong ,,all of them have a purpose
Jentlemen · 51-55, M
It's rather complicated, since every cell has it's own consciousness and most of the people believe in the higher consciousness we're part of
SW-User
I guess so, although not necessarily on a cellular level.
SW-User
@SW-User Possibly.
Micromint · 41-45, F
Absolutely without a doubt.
SW-User
It deviates from science but yes

Not just of sorts
Yes

hi TheEristicOne
That is a bit vague but if you mean does human consciousness reside in the brain only - no - we have other locii - just tap your knee with a rubber hammer.
best wishes
:)

ps Google neurogastroenterology

@sogdianrock I guess I could refine the question as: is our body like a hive mind? As in, so all our cells share in the consciousness of a human being albeit the unconscious bit we're hardly ever aware of? There's no science behind the question, just a random idea I had several times.

hi TheEristicOne
well the answer remains yes and no. See my story here on SW - a copied article - in I love neurology. It is mind blowing - literally imho!
best wishes

No. Cells are not conscious. Complex nervous systems are conscious.

Yup , with all the body parts thinking that their the boss while right in the middle of it all is the little old rectum who clams up tight ,, after weeks go by the entire body is yelling " Let go man let go " Rectum replies : Now who's the boss .
