I sent a truck load of them to a country that analog phones still were useful ,and bag phones
Couldn't give them away in the US ,but I had a friend who found someone who needed them
They were good to have in you car if you had no cell phone
you could still use them to call 911 ,,or make a call with a prepaid card
so yes ,I remember them very well ,
there was a time that phone said you were somebody LOL

@Nimbus reversing the charges to your home number was not wise but you could ,
a call to tell my kids I was diverted around an accident and would be an hour longer getting home cost me $15.00
now granted that is not a lot of money ,but less then a minute call
I used it to see if it would work ,
I also used one to call 911 when I was in an accident ,the 911 operator transfered me to the local Police so that call was free
they were still good to have around even after they were outdated
