@mountainman1234 I've always loved that song, I had the single when I was 14. It's a real feelgood song that typified the long hot summer of 1976. For three years it looked as if they were going to be a one-hit wonder when the next few singles failed to get in the top 40. Then they did "If I Said..." and got one more hit.

Yes the summer of 76 was a hot one , I do not remember to much music ,,, that year as I was working the Olympics

@mountainman1234 I was in school then, I was 14. There was a lot of disco-type music around that year. Even Abba jumped on the disco bandwagon with "Dancing Queen". Not surprisingly it got to number one.
