Depends on your situation. If one lived at the doorstep of ISIS territory, and the local warlord could keep them away at the cost of a couple freedoms, that would would definitely be something to consider. On the other hand, if one lived snuggle in Nebraska USA, what reason would there be to ever trade a freedom?
