On another thread about religion in public (state) schools, a christian is demostrating her arrogance. She claims anyone who doesn't believe in her god is arrogant and ignorant.

Sad Christian hate

@JohnOinger It is sad. They are very hateful and intolerant people. They need to learn that not everyone shares their beliefs. If they kept their fantasies to themselves there wouldn't be a problem but they just have to impose their views on others who aren't interested.

@suzie1960 What I said was it is arrogant to say there is no God when you don't have proof -which is true. Atheists have no proof God doesn't exist yet you and others were dictating to me he doesn't exist when that is not a proven fact. You did not give proof God doesnt exist yet you atheists demand I do now that is arrogant and hypocritical. You can believe there is no God when you don't have proof but I cannot even though I never claim to believe by proof although there is much evidence He is real. I trust God by faith.

You came to me saying Yahweh God doesn't exist. That the only God is the flying spheghetti monster and I must be crazy for believing in God. Is that not forcing your beliefs onto me? Is that not being intolerant? I didn't come to you. You started speaking to me.

Take my words out of context it just proves my point. It is arrogant to say there is no God when you do not have proof of his nonexistence yet demand proof and mock those who do believe in Him
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Firechidist You constantly demonstrate your arrogance by insisting your god exists when you have no proof it does. You attempt to force your beliefs onto other, not vice versa.

It is arrogant to say there is no Flying Spaghetti Monster or Invisible Pink Unicorn when you do not have proof of Their nonexistence.

It is arrogant to say there is a god when you do not have proof of its existence.
Firechidist · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 So you believe in the flying spheghetti monster and pink flying unicorn?
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
@suzie1960 You Need Jesus in Your Heart
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
@Firechidist She Seems Angry & Hateful like mad at God

@Firechidist
So you believe in the flying spheghetti monster and pink flying unicorn?
I expect you to believe in them because there is no proof they don't exist.

@JohnOinger
You Need Jesus in Your Heart
I most certainly do not! I had enough of that crap when I was at school.
She Seems Angry & Hateful like mad at God
Now you're being stupid. How can I be angry at a figment of your and Firechidist's imagination? Your god doesn't exist in the real world.

Arrogance and stupidity, the hallmarks of christianity.
Firechidist · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 Jesus is the Son of God he is not just the figment of our imagination. Millions of people have encountered him and He has changed mine and many peoples lives in miraculous ways. People have died just to spread the Gospel. That could not happen if he was not real and alive.
Firechidist · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 If He doesn't exist why bother arguing with us. Why get mad I believe God because it wouldn't matter in the end if he doesn't exist. Why don't you just go and live your life because tommorow we all die.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Firechidist I didn't say Jesus is a figment of your imagination, I said your god is. There is no proof it exists in the real world, it's no more than a myth. Not one person has encountered it in reality because it only exists in your delusions.

That people had died spreading their lies doesn't turn those lies into truth - that idea is even more delusional than believing in a mythical being. People could die claiming Harry Potter is real but that wouldn't make it so.

I don't care that you believe in mythical creatures, I'm just sick of christian arrogance and christians' attempts to deceive and corrupt the young.

I know your god is just a figment of your warped imagination. Continually coming back to spout more of your religious bullshit just further convinces me I'm right.

@Firechidist Millions of people have died to spread the message of Islam. Does that make it true?
