Never had a new phone. Always somebody else's cast off.
And the more I hear folk talk about them, the more I realise I get the better deal !
Still using I-phone4.
Cost me £20
I pay £10 a month for all the call time and download I need.
Only time I have a problem is when I get no signal. But then I'm in a fairly remote spot anyway.
