along with lots and lots of research. if you see something you like, mark it, put it into your watch list, fav browsing, so on.... then keep on looking for that same thing.



great examples are you keep on tracking the trail and you'll eventually come up with a STEAL.

OH and watch out for 'estate' sales where grandkids are too stupid to know better or those 'recently divorced' sales... where the pain is still there and they want to DUMP everything.

@Ynotisay That's a great deal! I usually buy winter boots and coats at Lands End or LL Bean. Where did you find that deal??

To toss it out, there's a great site called Active Junky you might want to check out. If you sign up, (for free) and use them to navigate to one of their partner sites (includes both LL Bean and Lands End)and if you buy something you get a discount. Usually between 5% and 12%. They send you a check every few months. So depending on what you buy your tax and shipping is usually paid for.
