Took my dad up to the south Okanagan today for fruit and THE BEST ice cream. We listened to a lot of oldies, reminisced about camping trips up there (Manning Park, Tullameen, Penticton and Summerland). Talked about baseball, my brother and work. He was experiencing too much pain so this is his last road trip. Tickleberry’s is such a neat ice cream shop, this is their original in Okanagan Falls.
Penticton is my home away from home. I love that place. More importantly, good for you for making a special time for your dad while he can still do it.
