What is your must have in the car for road trips?

For us

Spare tire
Small Floor jack
Tool bag
Extra light bulbs, extra parts (like fan belt, set of points, coil) oil, transmission, antifreeze and etc
CB & Amateur radios for emergency communication and talking to other people on the road.
Blankets (depending on the year)
Road flares
Paper maps
Two 5 gallon of extra gas
8 track tapes for music (just joking had you going there)

Ours may not be pretty, but its strong, works and runs like new with all original engine style parts. (Some aftermarket parts of course given its age). But nothing was upgraded to modern technology
