I Always Prefer the Window Seat
At home in France this is so, but changing in the same way as in England, because you can be made to feel cornered by some men on trains and buses.

I used to fly almost weekly around Europe and, in common with many of my fellow flyers, never took the window seat. You get blasé about the view, and the ability to leave the plane quickly is worth far more :-)
