I heard it in Dutch, on TV, so it must be true. They said it with a straight face. I am grateful. At my age I wouldn't respond kindly to loud laughing, at all.

@lumberjackslam I don't like to see it outside the proper places, called "naturalist areas" here, and "natur gebeid", I think, in Holland. There, it's okay but nobody is young or especially good looking, it's more like advanced forest bathing for the elderly. There I am warm enough to go with shoes only and a towel for about three hikes a year, and the feeling is truly nice - "gezeilig". Like invigorating but cozy.

@Roundandroundwego yeah I remember the toplessness going on at the beaches over there. are you from Holland?

@lumberjackslam only sometimes, but I refuse to go on vacation - even though the giant beach and the supermarket called Albert Heijn beckon in my dreams - until the Dutch end the animosity with Russia. They darn well know better. They can invite me and send awesome coupons for dirt cheap camping forever, but I will book a spot when they're not doing this anymore. When I go on vacation, I get a long stay permit if I can and stay long, spend a lot and hopefully add to the jolly atmosphere a lot. They'll miss my crowd. We fill the campsites.
