Why is this so? 🤔

Why do some people send gifts here marked as private?

If It's marked public, would presidents of the world start wearing tutus and dance the ballet?

As a few mentioned, it’s to hide romantic relationships.

@iamonfire696 i am not in any romantic relationships with anyone here and dont intend to be :D Everrrrr 😅

@NerdySoph oh I understand that but people her get jealous if someone even gets a gift and the sender is in a relationship.

So while you aren’t ever gonna be romantic with someone the sender may be and is trying to cover their tracks.

It’s like high school here, honestly.

@iamonfire696 Jealousy is an emotion i cannot understand. I am void of it, I do understand what effect it has on people though.

Sometimes i wish i am not abnormal and can feel certain emotions that others can so easily, but seeing the effect it can have, maybe i am better without it.

Thanks though, that makes sense actually.

@NerdySoph You’re welcome. I am jealous that you don’t feel jealous. Ironic isn’t is 😂.

Jealousy is an awful feeling, you’re not missing out on that one.

@iamonfire696 It's not a blessing, it's a curse to be abnormal this way. It cost me a very dear relationship before.

And when i am genuinely happy about other's achievements or things they have, sometimes they think i am beng fake about it because i am supposed to feel jealous, not happy.

It's really difficult. So dont be jealous of it lol. It's a curse.

@NerdySoph I am so sorry it cost you a relationship. I wish people were emotionally mature enough to realize that people can be happy for others and not be jealous though.
@NerdySoph That sounds like they have the problem, not you. Especially among friends; true friends are happy when good things happen for each other.
