The 90 mile straight starts just west of that sign. It is in my neck of the woods.....and way too many roadhouses these days given vehicle fuel efficiency. Don't try it in an electric car.....
The longest straight stretch of road in Australia is part of the Eyre Highway on the Nullarbor Plain, known as the "90 Mile Straight". It extends for 146.6 kilometers (91.1 miles) without any curves or bends.
@whowasthatmaskedman Late winter is a good time for the trip....whales still at the head of the bight and wild flowers starting....and not 40+ degrees either. Done the return trip a few times and the E-W trip a couple.
