Every dirt road I have been down in Oklahoma was a red-dirt road.

@TexChik I think northeastern Oklahoma has some roads that aren’t red…their rivers don’t look like it.

That's all the dirt roads in Wisconsin and we have a lot them. Not one them have have a sign one the roads that read this

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout we don’t have as many dirt roads as when I was young, but yikes when we did. If someone was driving in front of us and we’d had a dry spell you couldn’t see much up ahead. That red dirt does a number on white athletic shoes too. I bought rust remover to wash mine in and it took the red out. I never bought another white pair of shoes after that.

In Georgia we've got "Georgia Red Clay", which is famous for permanently staining any clothing it touches.
