Adventures South!
After graduating from Trinity I decided to follow a friend 's example and leave Ireland to go to mainland Europe! I started in Vienna, Austria, where I stayed for four months, working with a bohemian lot in the north of the city. I took an opportunity presented, and I went to Berlin, and but for a trip to Istanbul, and one to Stockholm, I stayed there two years.
I have had quite a few artistic adventures and there was talk of our going to Bulgaria for a time, and there was talk of going to a community of artists at Rostov-on-Don, but it was all talk in the end. However, while in Berlin I received the phone call about my Mother and I decided to come back here to Ireland. I guess the only way I will get back on the road is after my Ma dies, which sounds a little heartless I guess.
