ever set out on a journey without a destination in mind?

[c=#002673]have you ever traveled anywhere without really knowing where you are going, when you will get there or why you are even going?

Life is supposed to be about the journey, or the adventure, and not about the destination. Many people never even reach their goals or destination in life, but have a damn good time achieving them or getting there.

I have had the good fortune of being able to travel through almost all of Canada, my country, some of the U.S., and even parts of Europe. I am not sure what I want out of life yet or where I am headed next, but I know I am having one hell of a time doing it!

Love to hear about some of your travel/life experiences, and maybe I may even share some of my own here on this post.[/c][/c]

hi @wanderinggirl thanks so much for your wonderful post and sharing your travel experiences with us! You really got me, and I guess others, thinking how life is about the journey, not the destination! I have read so many posts on SW and this probably has to be the best I have seen.

Of course, traveling or taking a journey doesn't have to mean a big or expensive trip somewhere far away, which is not possible for many of us.

Each week we go on a family outing where I take my two young daughters on a 'little adventure' to explore the great outdoors and learn about our local environment, where we get to explore and interact with nature. A little journey with no destination in mind!
