I Love the Open Road

I just want to get in my car, fill the tank, and just drive to somewhere that isn't work, home, or places that make me feel stressed out. If i knew of any places that were like that i would head there without a second thought. I'd also be playing my music in the car while I drive there just to make the ride more enjoyable.

You must get a day off from whatever you do, right? Fill the tank and go. Turn on the roads that are calling you. Stop when you feel the urge. You won't miss. It's a guaranteed win.

That's how my ex-wife and I used to spend our vacations. No plans. Now I go to the mountains every weekend. It's impossible to not have a good time. Even when something happens that sucks.

Come on bro. This is the time of life that you HAVE to get in the car alone and go. You might not always have that chance and it's too important to pass up. Take it from an older guy. Work and home has it's place. But it's only one part of the game.
