@MaladyRed Yes it is truly picturesque. I love the prairies to the east of the mountains. You can watch your dog running away for three days and still have a good shot at him.

@melbeacher It can get rather spectacular at times. Sadly I missed an earlier shot when the mountain was wreathed in golden light. That was spectacular.

@MaladyRed a friend calls them the "Blue highways" since on many (Paper) maps the backroads are blue.
