What else can one do to make the place/area they live in feel new again?

I guess I'll save myself the added stress and just keep living where I am living for at least two more years.
It's a safe area and I have everything that I need nearby. Rent is decent. Anywhere else I go, I'd pay at least $100 more for a smaller place. Nothing fun nearby though. I've lived in the area my whole life.

I've resorted to rearranging furniture in my apartment. I changed the color scheme at one point.

I now shop at a different grocery store and sometimes will take different routes.

What else can one do to make the same old place/area feel new?

I seriously don't see how people live in the same place for 30 years.
Or maybe I'm craving something out of life that they aren't. Nothing wrong with either, I just don't see how.

If you paint your walls, a neutral color, you can colorize your furniture, accessories, like your carpet and pillows and decorations, and change it up when you get bored

I shop at different places too just to change my routine

@Jenny1234 I've bought different pictures for the walls, I bought different color pillow covers for my couch pillows and changed out the color scheme once. I rearranged my living room furniture. I go to a different grocery store take different routes. That's all just have to keep taking different routes and try to find something new even though I know there isn't anything
