What else can one do to make the place/area they live in feel new again?

I guess I'll save myself the added stress and just keep living where I am living for at least two more years.
It's a safe area and I have everything that I need nearby. Rent is decent. Anywhere else I go, I'd pay at least $100 more for a smaller place. Nothing fun nearby though. I've lived in the area my whole life.

I've resorted to rearranging furniture in my apartment. I changed the color scheme at one point.

I now shop at a different grocery store and sometimes will take different routes.

What else can one do to make the same old place/area feel new?

I seriously don't see how people live in the same place for 30 years.
Or maybe I'm craving something out of life that they aren't. Nothing wrong with either, I just don't see how.

I've been living in the same city all my life and I barely know it. 🙈 I'm a homebody from a large part. Last Friday a friend's friend took us to some places I had no idea even existed here. 😅 We also went to a small exhibition to a gallery that I have heard about a lot but had no idea where it even was. Shame on me but I've always had too much of social anxiety to explore even the most basic places in my city, let alone small family cafés on side streets and courtyards.
I think that an active and social person can get bored here easily but I'd still have so much to see.

That's nice that you found more to explore in your area
