I get along with the older lady across the street.
We used to talk to the family on the other side of us as well but all the sudden they got cold and when Paul died they didn't even come over and give condolences .
Thier little girl has been in my house to play with my granddaughter, I have given them cookies at Christmas, and toys to their littlest daughter, and the grandmother I had come over and take some plants I didn't want from my yard.
Although, we never got to the stage where we were in each other's houses, still common courtesy would think they would at least come over and give condolences ;I'm not real happy about it .

@Justmeraeagain I actually had that happen once. Never did figure out what they got in a snit over. They moved away and came back to visit several years later and couldn't quit saying, "We've missed you like hell. We wish we hadn't moved." Lol. Go figure. 🤷🏼♀
