@akindheart I've been shorting stocks for years. Now that I've officially retired stocks are my "job."

I get tax bills. But those rates are much less than taxes levied on labor.

@Crazywaterspring i don't understand all of that. wish I did...because i have some money to invest. I put most of my money into 2 annuities for solid income stream.

@akindheart Shop around for CDs paying more than 5%. Navy Federal and Schwab rock! I looked at Vanguard but an atm card that works everywhere with no foreign transaction fee won me over.

@Crazywaterspring I was on the other end of that see-saw and at 3 a.m. I did just the opposite. One of us is an investment genius :)
