Decent day of Apartment Viewing today
I got my job offer on Monday. I scheduled 6 apartment viewings on Tuesday. Drove 5 hours across the state and attended 5 of them today, most of which I arrived late to. The 6th fell by the wayside because I'm slow. I started driving back to my current apartment, which is 3 hours from the town I'm searching in, when I noticed that I'm running out of gasoline, I'm hungry, and also my phone is nearly out of battery bc the car charger isn't working right.
So I got gas and then went to Burger King for a meal. And they got free outlets so I can charge my phone on their wall while dicking around on my computer. I'm done eating, but the staff doesn't seem super keen on kicking me out, so I'll just stay here until I'm up to like 50% battery or they take action. It's gonna be at least like 10 PM by the time I make it to my apartment, and I've stripped enough away from it that it's barely a living space anymore. There's not even soap lol. But it's still a place to sleep the night away.
