Global Entry

I just submitted my application for Global Entry. It is amusing the steps the government takes to keep the country safe for us citizens but yet, there seems to be no plan to keep the immigrants out.

Makes me wonder.

I am always interested in yoru posts because I often learn something. This one is no exception, and you lost me on "Global Entry." What are we talkin' about?

@Freeranger have you ever heard of TSA precheck? well this includes that but it is for the world. so i can enter more freely. not a long wait. 100 for 5 years. zippy do da through TSA.
Honestly it’s not that much faster, plus they charge you a fee. So it’s like is that 10 minute saved worth it?

Yep just because you want to be legal

@akindheart Per my MexTex friends, what's driving illegal immigration is fear of the cartel. Fear that the cartel will snatch their children and turn them into killers or mules, or sell their daughters into the sex trade. The poorer you are the more vulnerable, powerless; made even more powerless by the police and elected officials being afraid of the cartel.

The US failure is in not separating the two issues of drug traffickers and illegal immigration. By keeping them linked, compassion for the immigrants is a perfect cover for the drug traffickers. Win the war against the drug traffickers and illegal immigration problems will go away on their own and we will witness an economic boom along the border for both Mexico and the US. Unfortunately though, our president sees more to gain by hiring 100,000 IRS agents than hiring 100,000 DEA agents, or using the Army to fight the drug war. Makes one wonder about how much $$ the drug cartels are being slipped into the Democrat coffers.

@Heartlander fixing a problem would make to much sense!

@Heartlander that's true. The dems are hoping those illegals will vote illegally
