I Like Traveling

My hometown is almost 1,000 miles away, and I am looking forward to a two or three days visit. It’ll be nice to visit with my mum, grandparents, brother and sister, and a handful friends. Living more down south for the past 7 weeks has been quite an experience for me, a good one for the most part. Caverns, wildlife safari’s, unbelievably nice and thoughtful folks (I’m from the north, we’re not used to that) rolling hills, sky’s of the darkest blue you can imagine, and countless churches around every corner. 🤣 We’ve had two days in the early 80s already just since I’ve been here, while my friends and family back home sent word of another snowstorm on Mother’s Day weekend. Glad I’m not living where it’s cold anymore. I won’t miss that when I arrive Thursday morning. 🥶😊
