Road trip, Maryland to Tennessee

Last October I drove the Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I took my time and it took a few days. I started in the DC area and drove to Front Royal. A few days later I stopped at Asheville. I reserved hotels in the valleys in advance. It was quicker than I expected, though, since some parts of the parkway are rather flat, and you can go 45mph! The last day I drove all the way back to the DC area.

Last May I spent a week in the Smokies, in Gatlinburg. I drove there in one long drive!

Go to Memphis,where the girls are sweet and so is the tea

There are almost no bad stops along the way. A beautiful route.
