What is the fastest you ever drove? What kind of car was it?

130+ was on a bike not a car, not sure exact speed cos i was too busy looking where i was going. last numbers i saw on speedo was 131, didnt have the bottle to look again. a suzuki sv1000s

In the early 70s I think it was in Georgia the speed limit was 80mph. I use to go down near Fort Myers for a week or two and it was nothing to roll down the then new I95 thru Georgia and parts of Florida at 120 in our 74 TBird. The goat was a friends and I use to drive us at times and got to racing a Trans Am on a straight and left him and looked and we were at 145 , at least my buddy said , I was busy trying to slow down before the straight ran out.

Well that's hard to say I buried the speedster? I can't spell don't laugh. ( Dylesxia)at 120mph on 1987 Cadillac Eldorado.and still had plenty of gas pedal left 120. Was all that was on the dash but was going much faster. The caylactic convertor set the floor afire had to pull over at gas station and pour water on the floor to put it out.lol
