Have you ever been to Galicia?

It's the north western corner of Spain, above Portugal. We have a lot in common with the Irish, and we sound like the Portuguese, to some. We are Celts, and quite independence minded.

I had a boyfriend from Galicia (Santiago de Compostela) back in high school. He was a little older than me and he was studying here in Greece. He told me everything about your ancestors and history and (medieval) festivals. Unfortunately I never visited Galicia. 😕
