Why don't many Americans want to live in another country?

Why do lots of Americans think the World revolves around the usa?

I understand that, but honestly, I'm not the one to hate. I work with immigrants everyday, and see the benefits of having people come to our country. I don't blame you for how you feel but there are some of us who have compassion empathy and a real appreciation for immigrants.

@rottenrobi: well I met many Americans don't understand what's it's like to be immigrant because they weren't born out -for the USA so they never understand because they are born a citizen. Hace You ever lived out of THE usa?

No, and you're right, I don't have the same experience. I do understand the process though very well, and have fought for some of my friends/coworkers to become legal citizens. You're also right about Americans not understanding that many illegals do pay taxes and work hard for this country.
