At the Bear, "Complimentary cake or biscuit with all hot drinks in the bar" . Does it have to be an alcoholic drink or do they serve tea and coffee in the bar? Are there fancy biscuits that can rival a slice of cake or should I know something about English cakes?
The Arkell's Brewery signs - does it mean they only serve Arkell beer?

@yunnaf All the Ales are brewed by Arkells . Lager and cider is also available . Coffee and tea served in the bar

It looks most interesting. I'd forgotten Betjeman was born there. For us railway nerds it's also know for its former roadside tramway.
