Traveling More

Do you ever feel like quitting your full time job and just focusing on hobbies and traveling more? Whether 2 hours away or 20, just going out and exploring more of this world? I'm getting older and just feel time slipping through my hands but after working 5 days a week I feel I have little time for much else.

I LOVE traveling! It really opens your mind to new experiences and helps you understand others!

I also need a travel buddy or travel group, people I know are busy and no fun 🙃 They don't feel this urgency that I do, maybe my mid life crisis 😄

@Ruya7 a good travel partner definitely helps!

@ShenaniganFoodie that sounds amazing! I will just need to bring some Dramamine with me.

You don’t want to quit your job and travel everyday if you travel everyday as a hobby it ends up becoming a bore because it’s not a hobby anymore

@Birdbox1986 You are very smart. But maybe like staying 3 months at a time as visa allows. 3 months in Vienna, 3 months in Slovenia, Istanbul. I don't know, I just need a change. 😅

@Ruya7 you don’t want to stay everywhere every 3 months that’s will make travelling boring

If you are financially independent

@Ruya7 sometimes you need to get a specific work visa, which may be harder to obtain

@Cowboybob I looked up a few countries and it states you can stay up to 90 days usually without a visa. That would be a good enough time to explore each one. 😊
Cowboybob · M
@Ruya7 yes. but staying as a tourist is different from working I think
It sounds a bit unrealistic unless one is very well financially well off.
Starting somewhere between 5 AM and 10 and finishing between 5 PM and 11 I feel it. I turned 50 this year and my body is letting me know it's time to enjoy movement well I have it
That's what work does to you. Until you can retire you're a slave to your employment.
Cowboybob · M
@Magicianzini I understand. And I hope that you do get a chance to enjoy life when you retire!
Cowboybob · M
@Magicianzini I'm confident enough that I've even posted photos on here
@Cowboybob How am I supposed to be able to ever retire haha. You seem a bit unaware. That's not unusual though.

None of us will ever be able to retire. We will work until we die.
