John Denver did an autographing at the bookstore where I worked. He talked to everyone and there was still a line when we closed. The lights were off, the place was finally empty, but someone walked up to the music section shelves about 20 feet from where I was sitting at a desk. It was him. He saw me looking at him and nodded. I nodded back.
