Bali is intense or I am intense... But it is not something I didn't know.

Traveling for a week, yes. Traveling for a couple of weeks, 3 weeks even. Then a month.
Something different happens then, as the hype of the newness and the excitement slows down.

Life is so funny.

People are dreaming of this and I am here, with my only wish to hide in somebody's arms.

I'm eating some fun thick crisps. The fan is loud. A very hot night. The quietness early.

Coming off the trip, is always a part of the trip that isn't as much talked about.

That's often the best part, sadly often also the shortest. I enjoy many places much more if I stop moving from place to place and just be in a place. Then instead of visiting an art gallery once I can go to it several times and see something new each time, appreciate a facet of a work that I hadn't noticed the first time around. Sometimes when I return I revise my opinion completely and something that I saw but passed by turns out to be the highlight.

@ninalanyon ah thank you for bringing me Stories from the other side of where I am!:)
it sounds good yes..

But I am more happy with my decision to move now than when I wrote that post..:)

This is one of the reasons why I don't travel or go to vacations, tbh. I want to see places but not really just on my own. I only went to a small solo trip and already felt kind of...empty, idk.. Maybe you have other reasons but from my point of view, I understand why you come here. I would too.

Waking up at home and momentarily thinking you are still in a strange bed
