Arrived at Rome airport, it's 1.30am..my flight to Greece is on 6 so around 5am I'd better be looking for the boarding Gate... Airport is big.

I'm going to sleep a bit, hopefully not too deep lol

Were you still in Croatia?
Were you specifically wanting to go to Rome?
Just curious why the airline routed you across the Adriatic to Italy, and then back across it to Greece, rather than flying straight down the Balkan peninsula to Greece (if you were still in Croatia).

@BlueGreenGrey I was looking for a cheap flight and I found this one, it had a few hours night layover in Rome.
Usually you can find economy flights early morning or late night and both of them were like that.

@being a lower cost makes sense and was the only thing I could think of, but that routing still seems extraordinary! It's a shame to be in Rome for just a few hours overnight and not be able to take advantage of actually exploring Rome, it seems like being teased / taunted!

@BlueGreenGrey haha life has funny ways... Not to me! I feel I have enough of travelling and I don't get the need to explore more! But yeah you're right, transit flights do this to us!
