Furry is going home….
Good Monday morning
it’s the trip home today.
Departing Worcester at 10 a.m on the 417 bus to Ledbury.
Got 35 minutes in Ledbury.
Perhaps time for another hot chocolate in the feathers.
Then the 476 bus to Hereford.
Intend to have lunch in Hereford Wetherspoons.
Then the 23 bus departing Hereford at 2pm which unfortunately doubles as a school bus in Abergavenny.
That bit takes over two hours but it’s free with my Welsh bus pass.
Then finally the 29 bus from Cwmbran town out to my estate.
That one takes all of four minutes.
But I’ll have done a return trip from Cwmbran to Worcester for a mere £12 in travel costs due to £3 bus fares in England.
Even the cricket was free admission .
Of course I’ve had to pay for the hotel and food but planning such a trip in pre internet days would have been very difficult.
And not on for my usual day trips to Worcester!
