After years of traveling alone and with friends/partners.

One red flag that I avoid is traveling with picky or diet restricted eaters. They will dampen your experience. Just leave them at home.

Agree. I am somewhat diet restricted for health reasons, not by choice, but I can always find something to eat everywhere I go

Overweight is another travelling partner to avoid. They can't or won't walk anywhere. Meaning you go everywhere alone. They only want the most sedentary of itineraries. And food is the only places they want to go.

I agree. And broaden that to people unwilling to try new things and adapt. Like those poor souls who go looking for an English pub in Spain..😷

...or like Americans who are willing to search all over Bagdad for some fine American cuisine.

@swirlie Well there is a McDonalds everywhere..😷

Did you know that if you peeled back the gold foil that a McDonald's golden arches sign is wrapped in, that you'd find milk chocolate on the inside?

I like to stay at home anyway
Or even people who have an entirely different diet then you.

@whowasthatmaskedman burnt brussel sprouts taste about the same as regular brussel sprouts. 3 LBS of butter or margarine along with an equal amount of salt for each brussel sprout. Not sure why I gain weight when I try and eat vegan...

@Justafantasy To me "Vegan" it a quick way of saying "I am so boring I have lost the will to live." But thats just me..😷
