I forgot how much packing up is a total pain

Even to go to someone’s house for three days. It’s a tall order trying to make as much possible for inside one suitcase.i can’t imagine how overwhelming it will be when it’s time for me to move out of the family house and live in on my own and repack everything. Packing is stressful and traveling requires a lot of packing. I don’t know what I’m getting myself into.

Yes it is! I hate packing then unpacking. As for trips that's why I like traveling in an RV. You can take far more stuff than just a suitcase. I start a few days before leaving. I hang stuff up and put other stuff in drawers. I wash the linens and make the bed. I give the coach a quick cleaning. The last thing I do on the morning we leave is transfer the contents of the refrigerator over to the RV. We have a full size residential refrigerator in ours. Once we leave we are set. No worrying about where we are staying or will the room be clean. I definitely know when the bed linens were changed and who slept in the bed last. We always have a clean bathroom too. No more filthy bathrooms along the highway.
