My friend was working in James Bay ...

And was handed out this pamphlet..

Keep it handy just in case you were thinking of taking some vacation time there ..

I was in James Bay last summer and the largest creature I saw was a giant mosquito when I was in and around the water and shoreline. I had my flyswatter handy in case any bears came out of the woodwork though...

I don't know what part of the world you live in, but James Bay is not even considered part of Ontario Canada's 'north country'. This is because James Bay is located SO far south.

Yeah, there's bears up there but there's also bears 100 miles north of Toronto, some of which migrate further south into suburbia at times.

You have to remember that the southern tip of James Bay which is located at the bottom end of Hudson's Bay, is only 136 miles north of the 49th Parallel, which is the southern-most extreme latitude of most of Canada and which forms the geographical Canada/US border.

Southern Ontario, being the southern-most part of Canada, sits at the same latitude as northern California but has much warmer winters than northern Cal because of the moderating effects of the Great Lakes all winter long.

I would take bears sleeping on my lawn over Canada Geese anytime!

🙄

Anyhoo ...

He was 17 hours north of Barrie by road Wherever that lands ..So it was pretty barren. And F'n cold and no where near the southern point of Canada ..

It's his story and not mine and he has no reason to lie ..

Nobody said he was lying!

@swirlie

Yahhhhh ..You kind of were implying that I had no clue what i was talking about when referring to northern Ontario .

@BobbyMoeven
No, that is your own conclusion that you came to, not mine.

@swirlie

Yahhhhh.i guess you didn't have a clue that i lived in Ontario and no all them facts .

Let's chalk it up as a misinterpretation and put it to rest ..

@BobbyMoeven
I actually did know that you live in Ontario, but I also know that you don't get out much which is why I tried my best to educate you about your own country.

@swirlie

So first you pretend to not know where i am from ..

And now you say that you know me , and you know me so intimately that you know that I don't get out that much

Truth is , is that you don't know Sh#$ , and you are here just to instigate an argument . I have seen you do it before to others and let it go ..

I obviously made a mistake ..

I am done ..

Bye.

@BobbyMoeven
You told me once before where you are from and even back then I told you that you need to get out more, because you live an isolated existence and meaningless life.

@swirlie

You are completely delusional ..

I don't even talk to you . I have never said any such thing ..

How much bigger a hole do you want to keep digging ..

It's getting awfully cold and mucky down here ..

@BobbyMoeven
How quickly you choose to forget, Bobby! 😂

@swirlie

I am good with that ..

Let's forget this whole dialogue ever happened
