Looks Like The USD Is At Par With The Euro

I am in Europe for a short visit. The store just charged me in Euro (let's say 50 Euro). My bank pinged me a minute later to tell me that a $50 USD charge happened.

Perhaps not great news for a US economy trying to gain market share in Europe, but look like my vacation is going to be a lot cheaper.

It is. Europeans are not going to buy US goods that just went up more than 25%, on top of the retaliatory tariffs that will be imposed if Trump goes through with his tariffs.

I was surprised when I saw the bill, and then I thought: hey, let's buy more French shoes, they're practically free now.

@Northwest practically!🙂
Trump is determined to bring down the country. The economy is just part of that.
