It's wonderful buildings like this that remind us that people can create beauty as well as be incredibly destructive. It lifts our eyes up out of the gutter of politics and selfishness to contemplate something (someone, perhaps) greater than ourselves deserving worship. That organ, too, produces sublime and sonorous music that lifts the soul.
