Wetherspoons Hotel- What's it like?

The Pilgrim's Progress.

We were very impressed- basically, it had a 'Premeir Inn' like feel but even more modern and clean.

Obviously very basic- no room service for ordering food, add ons, etc but at £64 on a Saturday noone's complaining and I don't use those features anyway.

My wife wanted some time to nap and talk to her family when we arrived in the room so down through a entrance door into the pub I went (may have had a cheeky couple 🤭).

Had a great dinner (the usual at spoons), plenty of seating to choose from.

Overall, I would actually highly reccomend a Wetherspoons hotel, we had a great time! So great in fact, I forgot to wind up my cousins and sister in law's boyfriend about us beating Watford 🤭

What a great hotel in honour of a top bloke!

A lot of wetherspoons are old historic buildings like former theatres, cinemas and churches. I find them pretty good for accommodation too.
@meggie It was our first one and certainly won't be our last!

@BritishFailedAesthetic amazing old theatre in Canterbury. Also the Greene King Inns have good accommodation too.
@meggie Will have to try and check them out. As for Canterbury will have to see the relatives in Ashford on the way!
