Why using the past tense? If you loved Florida, you probably still love it today, right? You probably loved nature and the scenery more than just the people.

Nature and scenery has not changed much, thus you can still love Florida.

It is a nice place to visit as a tourist and the state has a lot to offer.

Mickey Mouse is in Florida but it’s so hot there in the summer, I can’t breathe. But Disney World is one of my happy places. 😍

Florida is not actually a part of the USA. Florida is a territory of Russia which is controlled by Fidel Castro's son who lives in Cuba, which is also a territory if Russia.
