People aren't freaking out on airplanes. We just notice it more when it happens there.

People freak out in traffic, on buses, in grocery stores, in public on a daily basis and the world just laughs, calls them a Karen and moves on. But when it happens on a plane, suddenly the reaction is, "wtf is going on in this world". Not because it happens more on airplanes but because we're hypervigilant about it.

So you might ask why we've noticed more recently. It's because of COVID. People got stressed from it and had a tendency to freak out more, whether on a plane or on a bus or in a restaurant. Anywhere. We're just more stressed as a society. But again, anytime it happened on a plane, we questioned it more than when it happened anywhere else.

I mean, look, people KILL each other here on the streets and we just say, "Ah people are crazy and always have been." But someone has a panic attack on a plane and we blow it out of proportion.

There's nothing special about planes that makes people crazy. It happens everywhere.

This world is getting darker my friend. Better start paying attention to what's going on. ☺️
