For this year's summer vacation, we opted for something fresh and decided to explore the western part of the country. The experience was breathtaking, and it felt like anyone living there was blessed to reside in such a scenic location. It was truly the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

@Musicman You're very welcome! The weather cooperated most of the time, it's a different type of heat compared to what I'm used to. We were gone for 9 days, and explored a new area everyday. I had a list of things I wanted to see, but I found a lot more along the way that I want to go back and visit. Next time I'm going to take it slower and not rush.
@SW-User That's fabulous! My wife and I are retired and we have a motorhome. Two years ago we took five weeks and went to Cheyenne Wyoming, Wichita Kansas, Oklahoma City and Memphis Tennessee.
And if course kitty comes with us too. 🤗

@Musicman This trip has really made me start thinking about doing the same thing when I’m able. I had always planned on retiring somewhere near a beach, but this may have changed my mind. There’s so much beauty out there that nobody ever talks about.
@SW-User Yes there is. Now having two small places, one by the beach in the south for winters and another up north where you were could be even better. Give you the best of both worlds. 🙂
@Musicman No I stayed home. Going to a very good friends tomorrow. I'm helping him to build a hardwood deck 9 meters by 6 meters (29.5276ft by 19.685ft) in his backyard. What are your plans for today?
@Unquestioned That's great! 😋😋😋😋 Are you helping with the entire deck or just today? I built decks professionally for a living. Do you have a nail gun or are you doing it by hand?
