In your opinion what is a national emergency in your country ?

Had to laugh a few months back.
Every mobile phone in the UK was sent a message saying that on a certain date (a Sunday) all registered mobile phones were going to hear an alarm at a certain time.
They said it was an emergency broadcast test in case of national emergency.
And just about everyone must have thought "Are we to expect invasion ?
Massive tsunami ? Pizza hut leaving the country ???

My phone didn't ring all Sunday but that's nothing unusual ;)
All in all yet another disaster by the government ironically trying to inform of disasters, you couldn't make it up! 😛

@Nimbus Oh there's a conspiracy theory going around that the government wanted confirmation on the whereabouts of every mobile phone in the country.
For "the purposes of national registration".......whatever you take that to mean.
