Peru or Denmark

@SatyrService have you been to Peru?

@Mindful no, oly read a lot, have you?
my thoughts are largely about places to ride out mad swings of climate,
they got some tall places there, that might be cool in the future
most of what I know about Peru is Pre modern I am Very interested in your thoughts on Peru

@SatyrServiceI’ve not been to Peru. I’ve met some Peruvians who are I ncredibly attuned to life annd live in the present. I’ve done some reading and it’s a place full of history. I have a passion for experiencing old worlds. I feel as if I am being “beamed” into another time, and I feel exhilaration. I have a desire to travel thru the eastern and western coast of Latin america, but it seems that all of Latin America is becoming more dangerous. :-) I’m saving to go to Denmark in 2024 for a wedding, then Spain, and next will be India or Peru.

@Mindful i am concerned i cannot pay my basic bills, AND save enough to go traveling.
I am considering it tho, but will have to give up the wonderful home i nave now

@SatyrService try to rent out rooms or air b n b and save.anyhow I understand. I am also on a tight budget, and therefore planning ahead. :-) you’d be surprised how many adventures you can find locally as well.

@Mindful i adventure extensively here in the states.. A Lot! but i do yearn to see other places.
I looked inot the air bnb thing but id have to have someone monitor that,
and the local rates are not very good.
