@saragoodtimes well, if i had to compare it, it feels more like a medieval festival where knights joust, but you know not as dangerous of a sport, because we use the gentlemanly and elderly art of "jeu de boule". also modern tools as gas burners for the cooking for everyone and like modern tents and air mattresses :p

@calicuz thats not glamping! glamping is bringing a fancy caravan thats pretty much a apartment on wheels to ap lace with nature to say look i was in nature, it isn't having a burner and a bathroom :p

@calicuz no the biggest predatory animal here is a wolf which they try to reintroduce but they aren't in the areas i'm staying, where i'm staying is flat farmlands with some forest and around that some sand dunes!

@calicuz well i've seen glamping videos and its nothing similar, the only fancy places to sleep are for the elderly people :p but its somewhere between glamping and camping yeah

@ElRengo this time of year there's a holiday and we go camping! every year with my whole mothers side of the family plus close family friends!
we are with 100 to 200 people, loads of dogs to play with , loads of games and people to talk to! delicious food! we barbecue one day, sit around the campfire and such!
sadly the weather isn't great this year but that last couple years it was always heat waves! so its one of the years we all sit together in a big tent enjoy tea and coffee and have a jolly good time!

I used to go on joyful camping vacations with my daughters by when they were kids and teens.
(And when they were teen girls I had more offers of "help" with the tents fom the boys around than the one needed! 😄)
