Does anyone else feel really surreal when visiting a far away place?

I don't know if I am just odd or or if Im just too mentally stimulated by everything which I can be sometimes, but whenever I have traveled to a different country things feel odd or surreal sometimes like I've jumped into the TV screen or Im in a dream.
I mean not 100% but yeah kinda unreal but in a good way. I might just be overwhelmed by how different things are especially since I've only been out of the country a few times. Anyone else feel like this?

I don't really feel any different when I'm at a new place but I view my neighborhood very differently upon my return. I don't know how to explain it but it is my neighborhood that kind of feels newish and different when I return from some place nice.
