Hmmm

Threading needle must be a term coined by pilots to fly thru pockets of clear skies

You’re a fan of the skies? Flying? Or? The clouds made me yawn! Finally too sleepy.
@Mindful Not sure who coined it, but definitely in the pilot's glossary for finding a pocket of sky!

The skies, the clouds, flying----and airplanes.☺️

I have some flight experience. The plan was to fly for the majors or corporate as a commercial pilot -- then 9/11 happened, the industry tanked.

It has un tanked? My house mate used to fly and now he and some other retired pilot participate in an RCA ?? club. He loves it!@SethGreene531 and enjoys the interaction with other pilots. He himself suffered from an operation and can no longer fly. This club has added life to his step.
@Mindful How interesting, had no idea your S.O was a former pilot-- very cool!

An RCA club is a lot of fun, hours of joy and camaraderie.

I don't follow the industry trends anymore, but it seems they often suffer economically.
